#9: Proust and Comfort Food
Food is just food until it isn't.
Hello Friend, Let's jump straight into it today. When was the last time you ate something that you love? Where were you the first time you ate it? Sometimes you can’t quite figure out why you feel a certain way when you eat something, or when that song comes on the radio for the millionth time in your life. For me, it was eating litchis, their ripe pink skin giving way to the sticky, sugary manna that used to run all the way to my elbows as a child until I figured out the solution many summers later: eat them over a sink.
